1. CHÈRY | UX Design
Designed a mobile app and responsive website for GOOGLE to help people book their seats in Fashion shows.
UI/UX - Mobile App - Web
Project Overview
The product: This app helps users to have access easily to all fashion shows time timetables, places, and prices. Users can book easily for any show, even those who are not really into the fashion world.
Project duration: 3 months
Problem
Navigation and screen reader for those who are not able to use it quickly. People who are not familiar with fashion and do not know how to book a seat in a show have some difficulties.
Goal
This app helps users to have access easily to details of fashion shows that are running at the time and they can book and reserve their seats by themselves. They can reach the places by the navigation map in the app.
Role
UX designer, UX researcher
Responsibilities
user research, wireframing, prototyping, and designing.
Tools
Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, Marvel, Canva
Process
After understanding the company's needs and expectations, I designed an application based on the problem-solving frameworks and created a low-fidelity prototype. I ran user testing and the feedback to refine the design. Subsequently, I created a high-fidelity prototype.
User research
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users I was designing for and their needs. A primary user group was identified through research with some fashion bloggers who have some basic knowledge and experience about fashion. I understand that we have two sides to have an overview of the app.
pain points
Time: There should be a notice to understand the timetable for each brand when will come out and they need more info to be scheduled.
Booking: Easy booking methods and payments.
Navigation: The process to find out about how to use this app easily without any spam. Too much info on the websites.
Persona
I conducted supervised user research and received feedback from users that we incorporated into user personas. For example, our persona Melany is a fashion blogger, and for time-saving she needs to use an app for notice before every fashion show. Another user persona is Jack who is not familiar with the fashion industry and he needs to use an app to help him quickly.
I also created a user journey to better illustrate the difficulty many people face when they are in the process of transitioning in life and attempting to evaluate and form new habits.
Starting the design
The process below begins with my initial ideas wireframes, then moves to mockups, and finally to the high-fidelity prototype. In this simple version, you can see how the I approach solves the user needs.
Wireframes & Prototypes
I then brought my idea to an interactive digital low-fidelity prototype and brought it to five potential users to collect feedback.
